Dr. Donald Gay – Biography

Dr. Gay is a practicing Chiropractor who specializes in Applied Kinesiology and Clinical Nutrition with a focus on Wellness and Anti-Aging. Dr. Gay utilizes many different modalities in his practice including microcurrent and electrotherapy, Neuro Emotional Technique, Pain Neutralization Technique, Activator, and Clinical Kinesiology. He has practiced for over 45 years and owned and managed the Whole Life Healing Centre in Lakewood, Colorado from 1985 to 2004. The clinic was a multidisciplinary center that has included Chiropractic, Medical, Homeopathic, and Naturopathic physicians, and has offered Acupuncture, Physical Therapy, Massage, Reflexology, Nutritionists, and many different types of Energy Work.

Dr. Gay graduated as Salutatorian from Arcadia Valley High School in Missouri and he earned an appointment to the United States Coast Guard Academy. Colorblindness prompted a change in focus, and a spinal injury and his father’s battle with lung cancer led him into Chiropractic and nutrition. He graduated from Logan College of Chiropractic in January of 1977. He worked in a Holistic Cancer Clinic for several years and then started his own clinic in Broomfield, Colorado.

For 2 years, Dr. Gay was a preceptor for the Alternative and Complementary Health program for the Internal Medicine Residency Program at the University of Colorado School of Health Sciences. The program introduced Internal Medicine and other Residents at the Medical School to the concepts and practices of Alternative Doctors in the field.

Dr. Gay has worked with the Univera programs and products for over 15 years, and was on the Medical Advisory Board for 2 years. He was initially drawn by Stephen Cherniske’s unique theories on aging, and Univera’s extensive research programs and exceptional quality control.

Dr. Gay now practices in Florence, Colorado where his wife Bridget now own the Wellness Therapy Center. It is a smaller multi disciplinary center with Chiropractic, Naturopathy and Massage. www.WellnessTherapyCenter.com

He and his wife Bridget currently have a farm/ranch near Florence and live with horses, dogs, cats and enjoy country life and running a working farm and ranch in southern Colorado. When Industrial Hemp became legal in Colorado, he and Bridget switched the farm over from growing Alfalfa to Hemp. They built a Hemp Processing facility to make and manufacture CBD products for his practice and other healthcare professionals that wanted an extremely high quality product they could trust. Dr. Gay is currently still practicing part time and lecturing locally in Colorado and around the country on CBD, Nutrition, Wellness, Longevity and Anti-Aging.
